National Grandparents Day – National Grandparent’s Day is a holiday that is celebrated in different ways in different countries. One that is officially recognized by some, and takes place on different days of the year, whether as a holiday or sometimes as a separate grandparent’s day.
United has led an annual campaign to encourage all generations to do something wonderful and connect with another generation on Grandparent’s Day.Bringing generations to the table. National Grandparents Day Wishes
In the United States, Russell Kapper sent a letter to President Nixon suggesting that a special day be celebrated as grandparents day. Then, on June 12, 1969, a letter from the President’s personal secretary was written: “Dear Russell, Thank you for your letter to the President. Your suggestions regarding the National Grandparents Day are appreciated; the president usually announces special follow-up announcements, while the government empowers him to do so.
With regards, “The Private Secretary of the Rose Mary Woods Presidency” because the above letter is addressed to Marianne MacLeod by the United States Senate – in particular by Senator Jennings Randolph; and by Robert Byrd – and by President Jimmy Carter. To celebrate the day.
